A copperhead at Steven F. Austin State Park, Texas. I almost stepped on him while he sunned himself on the trail. Then he meandered away, giving me some time to take pictures. I was so shaken (these have poisonous venom) that this was the best I got.

That is a funny statement, since venom and poison are actually two different things. Poison is ingested or absorbed, whereas venom is injected.
